The Reddy wedding will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Not only was the beautiful bride such a pleasure to work with, but this was our first truly massive wedding.  With a guest count well over 1,000, every detail mattered.

Jeannie and her entire team at Details Details worked tirelessly to communicate the bride's vision with Shawna and the entire SY & Co. crew. Our warehouse has never been quite so dominated by one event before, and the energy was practically bouncing off of the walls! It truly is an amazing experience to see a large event like this go from simple sketches to real life. Enjoy these amazing images from Lin & Jirsa Photography!

The best place to start when talking about this ceremony may as well be at the entrance! Here stood large golden mirrors with elegant white calligraphy reading various romantic sayings. We collected a bunch of glamorous gold urns and brass cups that were filled with petite florals. Next to the mirrors were fresh and fragrant strands of jasmine shipped in directly from India for guests to pin in their hair. The jasmine was to symbolize the hope and love that filled the day- how sweet!

While Sunitha's bouquet was made up of entirely blush peonies, the bridesmaids included small sprigs of greenery, garden roses, spray roses, and a few peonies.

Something that was so amazing about this wedding was the simplicity. Such a grand event usually includes multi-faceted designs, but the Reddy wedding instead relied on a simplistic, visually stunning color palette and overall design.

We created this custom doli for the bride, using hundreds of fresh peonies, garden roses, spray roses, and carnations to adorn the sides and special garlands to cascade down the back. We're so appreciative of our tool-belt diva, Nicole, who can build anything in the entire world (and adorn it with beautiful florals at the same time)!

There ceremony itself featured a large 10ft ring suspended from the ceiling, with three smaller rings suspended above the aisle. This mandap was so modern, elegant, and luxurious. The beautiful ivory drapery visually enhanced the entire design (while simultaneously saving the guests from the gloomy sky in Huntington Beach). The rings themselves had dense florals surrounding the outer rim while dozens of 4ft floral garland strands hung.

Don't let the lush florals fool you, though, these rings were heavy! Our team prides ourselves on our ability to carry our own weight (and then some), but we had to really come together in order to lift the rings so high in the air! Thanks to the inventors of air craft cable and the muscles of our team and the crew at Shine Lighting, we finally figured it out! Phew.

Now let's talk about this luxurious, five-layer, fragrant garland! The first layer included a strand of pearls, followed by fresh jasmine, then more pearls. The fourth strand had more jasmine and the final was made up of small ivory spray roses that gradually got larger towards the center.
